This course provides you with the education and training necessary to achieve competency in the wide range of skills required for the role of an enrolled nurse. A large component of the course is supervised clinical practice in hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare agencies. The course is taught by a team of registered nurses with considerable teaching and clinical experience. Upon completion of the program may also choose to go on study Registered Nursing at University

Objective
This program will prepare you for employment as an Enrolled Nurse. Enrolled Nurses are first-level nurses who practice in all areas of clinical nursing under the supervision of Registered Nurses. The diploma includes medication endorsement, with will allow you to subsequently administer medications to patients.
After you have completed the program, you can enroll in the Bachelor of Nursing Science. On graduating from this program, you will demonstrate achievement of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council Standards for Registered Nurses and be eligible to apply to become a Registered Nurse in Queensland.

Career Opportunities
Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will find employment as a Nurse in a rural settings, acute care, community health, flight nursing, correctional services, domiciliary nursing, community nursing, Nursing Assistant
