Per my experience, this is not spam at all. However, I do have to rely heavily on referrals to gain my balance after initial surveys because now I only get 1 survey per month worth $1. It sucks I have to wait 4-6 weeks to get my full payment, and that I can't use PayPal without a $25 fee. Plus PayPal takes out a percentage anyways when you receive money. I hope I actually get the check. I'll tell you when I do. So far I have gotten 70 referrals. However, I am an expert marketer though, with years of experience and also successful selling on eBay, so that helps a lot. Otherwise it might be difficult, but some people might just have the natural ability. I say try it.
