Sr. Food Scientist
Responsibilities:
Management of projects involving all stages of product/process development of discovery, exploration, scoping, bench-top formulations, scale-up trials, test market production, quality testing and safety validation
Provide hands on technical support for the manufacturing operations relating to produce/process improvement and troubleshooting
Areas of Expertise:
Project management – R&D of foods (both as raw commodities and as processed products), product formulation and process development, process optimization, shelf-life test, sensory evaluation and product market analysis.
Selected product of company interest.
Corned Beef, Beef Stocks, Sauces and Dry Soup Base & Ready to Eat Products in various Packaging Systems Meat based broth, spreads, pates, bullions and base concentrated powder. Sausages, luncheon meat, ham, patties and gravies. Frozen products (such as chowder, frozen dinner entrées, meat pie, pizza) Sandwich spread & Ready to eat products.
Academic Degrees and Professional Certification:
B.Sc. Food Technology or B.Sc. Food Science
Or Equivalent
Previous Employment:
Must have a considerable work experience in food industry specifically on Meat & Prepared Food Industry.
