Requirements:

Male, not more than 35 years old.
Graduate of Mechanical or Civil Engineering. (Licensed will be an advantage)
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in store constructions, repair and maintenance on machines and equipments and be able to perform design works  and fabrication implementation
Actual exposure on electrical control, ref and aircon repair and maintenance will be an advantage.
Knowledge of machine tools re-build, installation and commissioning will be an added advantage
Project management skills
Must be flexible, dynamic and result-oriented and willing to work on shifts.
Preferably with a Professional Driver’s License.
Applicants must be willing to work in BULACAN Area.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, backup, recovery, upgrades, schema changes, SQL execution.
  • Perform other tasks related with managing the MySQL DB with an emphasis on uptime, scalability and performance.
  • Participate in the long term planning and development of tools and scripts for automation
  • Work closely with development to understand requirements and recommend DB design best practices
  • Monitor databases for performance bottlenecks and identify solutions for performance tuning and data modeling

Requirements

  • BS degree in CS (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of database administration experience in a production support role
  • Strong professional experience in MySQL database administration (certification preferred)
  • Strong knowledge in database performance strategies and tuning MySQL DB.
  • Working knowledge of hardware devices, operating systems, databases and how they interrlate.
  • Linux administration experience is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of system structures – TCPIP, RAID, Volume management, backups
  • Working knowledge of Linux Operating systems, shell scripting and other languages (PHP, SQL etc.)
  • Experience with MySQL replication setup and administration
  • High volume OLTP and Batch database experience desirable.
  • Knowledge of MySQL high availability configurations highly desirable
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong team player
  • Willing to work in Malolos City, Bulacan.
