Medical Transcriptionist Job Opening
Capital Typing is seeking a motivated and skilled full time or part time medical transcriptionist. Successful candidate well possess excellent English skills—grammar, vocabulary; and fast typing speed of at least 75 words per minute. Position will involve transcribing audio and video files quickly and accurately. 99-100% word for word accuracy, correctly formatted and punctuated, is required at all times. Must be able to accurately transcribe a wide range of content—medical, legal, business, general.
3-5 years’ experience in transcription, medical transcription, or a related field preferred. College graduate preferred. Candidate must have a proven track record of reliable, high quality performance on the job, and a passion for results. Must have the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment, and able to think on your feet, working in a smart and effective manner at all times. Must be a team player, with the ability to work well with others, whether in a supervisory and support capacity.
Position is for either full time or part time (25-40 hours per week). Flexible shifts available. Starting salary of $3 per hour, with salary increases as skill and reliability is demonstrated.
Candidate must have a reliable computer, internet, and electricity, as well as back-up alternatives in case of failure of those preliminary systems.
