Senior Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical expertise of the assigned domain/layer to the Architect and develop
components to build technical solution. As a Senior, tutor and support less experienced
members in delivering quality code.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the Architect in delivering scalable and high-performance codes, issue analysis
and resolutions.
2. Provide work estimates for self and others with minimal rework required.
3. Write complex, efficient, quality codes within estimates while identifying and
escalating issues on a timely manner; participate in development and system analysis,
focusing on critical components
4. Execute performance and endurance tests, provide input and implement resolution
plans to improve output
5. Providing technical expertise to project team members; coach and support less
experienced members of the team
6. Propose new technologies/methodologies dedicated to reduce time to development,
and improve user experience
QUALIFICATION/ELIGIBILITY
EDUCATION : BS Computer Engineering, BS ECE, BS Computer Science
WORK EXPERIENCE : At least 7 years of solid/total work experience in Enterprise
Applications Development using C++ (TCP/IP, Protocols,
Threads) in UNIX Environment; at least 2 years of which spent
as a Senior or equivalent
Solid experience in development of large-scale distributed
systems with high performance requirement. CORBA knowledge
is highly appreciated; OOAD skill is a must
OTHER SKILLS : Database Systems hands-on experience/knowledge
(normalization, PL/SQL)
