Accounting Officer
Responsibilities:
- Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Updates and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
- Compiles data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
- Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Posting of accounts to the general ledger, accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements and payroll
- Knowledgeable in BIR and other governmental requirements
- Processes tax return preparation.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, Ms Outlook.
- Minimum of four years in accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaue City.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
