Accountant/Admistrative Officer, National Capital Reg.
(National Capital Reg – Makati City)
Responsibilities:
Administration
Handles general office administration, procurement and other necessary operational logistics of the office.
Accurately maintains and organizes filing of correspondence, documents, references and other materials on a daily basis.
Responsible for the daily operations and smooth functioning of the office including communications, reception and facilities.
Management of office environment. Oversee office appearance including cleanliness and tidiness.
Providing specialized support to other departments.
Ensure effective cost management for supplies and office consumables.
Accounting
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare periodic financial reports, reconcile expenditure and revenue accounts
Perform account analysis, reconciliation of various general ledger accounts, journal and other accounting entries.
Calculate and prepare reimbursement billings and track monthly accounts receivables.
Monitor petty cash and prepare check voucher for all disbursements.
Manage liquidation and reimbursements.
Prepares cheques for signing.
Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company’s automated financial systems.
Assist in invoicing jobs.
Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping.
Handle staff attendance and payroll administration.
Responsible for preparing, submitting and paying all BIR returns, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig and other contributions; ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
Maintain accounting records for special accounts and projects.
General office duties and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Candidate must have at least 3-5 years work experience in the related field.
Preferably experienced employees specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Having a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in payroll systems and reporting; MS Office, MYOB Accounting Software.
Must be able to apply discretion with confidential information.
Provide financial reports to the head office in Australia.
General office administration experience.
Organized, systematic and highly analytical.
A team player and can work in a fast paced environment and has ability to multi-task.
Must have an above average communication skills to interact effectively with different levels in the organization, sufficient to convey information and to receive work direction.
Willing to work in Makati City.
