QA Director

Duties:

1. Responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance in support of internal and external web applications as well as Web Services Backend

2. Manage and Build a team of QA Engineers and QA Testers (18 Staff)

3. Lead effort in implementing automated testing across all projects

4. Oversee development of test plans and test cases

5. Ensure unit, component, integration, system and load testing is being performed on each project

6. Implement communication and knowledge sharing process for team members

7. Refine and enhance technology methodologies and/or standards

8. Work with Project Managers and Development Managers to ensure appropriate staffing of QA team Members is achieved for each project

9. Organize and oversee defect tracking and test documentation systems

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of software QA testing including automated and manual testing

2. 4+ years in a management role

3. Excellent communication skills

4. Strong project management and team management skills

5. Strong skills in a manual black box and white box testing of web based applications

6. Experience writing and evaluating SQL queries

7. Understanding of database and web application n-tier architectures in Linux and Windows platforms (PHP, .NET, MySQL, SQL Server, Apache, IIS)

8. Working knowledge of XML, Java, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX is preferred

9. Hands-on experience with test automation systems (Selenium, Watir, QuickTest Pro, Test Director, WinRunner, etc.)

10. Hands-on Experience with performance testing systems (LoadRunner, Jmeter, etc.)
