Marine Recruitment Coordinator

Primarily responsible for the recruitment of seafarers required by the requesting fleet team in a timely manner. Also supports the Marine Personnel Coordinators in the operations.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

1. Secures the manpower requirements of the respective fleet team
2. Conducts field recruitment of seafarers
3. Screens seafarer applicants through initial field interviews
4. Endorses applicants to HR for completion of exams.
5. Coordinates technical interview schedule of seafarer applicants with the training coordinator
6. Coordinates status with the commitee
7. Provides recruitment reports

Administrative

1. Maintains 201 files of seafarers
2. Liaises with government bodies as may be necessary
3. Attends to special projects as assigned
4. Assists in documentation as necesary

Qualifications:

- Male or Female, not older than 30

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Maritime Transportation, Marine Engineering preferred

- At least 2 years solid experience in recruitment and administrative functions in a maritime/shipping company

- Proficient in Microsoft applications

- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly analytical, has keen attention to details

- Willing to work in Makati City
