Earn Money from Adsense | Tips and Tricks

June 28, 2011

Earning money online is possible with one of the biggest online companies in the world: Google. Through their Adsense program, you can earn by displaying advertisements on your blog. Every time a person clicks on an advertisement, you earn from as little as $0.05 to a dollar or more.

WARNING: NEVER CHEAT!!! With Google being a giant company, I must warn you that they are very strict and they do not tolerate any form of cheating or abusing their system. You must NEVER EVER click on your own ads, no matter if you’re on another person’s computer or on an internet cafe. They will know if you’re trying anything fishy and if there’s suddenly a hundred clicks for your ads when your blog is only having a few visitors per day. Trust me, they know. And once you’re banned from their program, you can never reenter again.

That said, let’s get started with how to earn from adsense. If you’re starting from scratch, the following process shouldn’t take more than two days for you to learn. After that, your success will depend solely on your persistence and eagerness to explore and learn more.

Have a goal of 100 or more unique visitors per day. Earn Money from Adsense | Tips and Tricks

Your goal will be at least 100 unique visitors to your blog per day. Most of these visitors should come from search engines such as Google, Yahoo, or MSN. There is something called Search Engine Optimization, and it’s very effective in bringing more visitors to your site. You can learn more about how to do this on my SEO website here: Download the free SEO ebook on the site to learn more about how to apply Search Engine Optimization to your blog.

Choose a specific topic, and focus on it. Choose a topic that you are comfortable with, and focus on it. You can have a blog on music. You can have a blog on technology and gadgets. You can have a blog on health. But whatever you do, choose one topic and only one topic for a blog. If you must write on several topics, then just create one blog for each topic. Remember, One Blog, One Topic.

Make your visitors stay! Let me tell you a trick. Write content that will make your visitor stay on your site. The rule is, you must make the visitors stay on your site for at least 30 seconds. The longer, the better! To do this, you must write an article that can intrigue your readers. You can also do so with a video. But make sure that you write a good title that can attract your visitors and make them stay while the video is still loading.

Why does this work? A simple way of putting it is this… When search engines send a visitor to your site, they have the ability to detect whether or not the person immediately presses the BACK button on his browser. When the person doesn’t do that, then search engines ASSUME that the visitor is satisfied! That means that for search engines, your site contains information that visitors are interested in! And so search engines will continue to send visitors to your site!

Don’t place up your adsense first! Grow your site first before deciding to place ads on it. Your site will grow faster as people will tend to trust your site more at the onset if it doesn’t display ads. Once you are receiving a steady stream of traffic and the minimum 100 unique visitors per day, then you can start displaying ads and watch your traffic grow.

Ideal placement for Adsense. The orange spots are the most effective places where you can place your ads. The darker the orange color, the more results to expect!
