KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• BS Metallurgical Engineering Degree required (MS preferable)
• +10 years experience in hydrometallurgy, solvent extraction, electrowinning
• Strong technical skills – capable of reviewing/approving detailed engineering designs and PFDs
• Management experience and have been exposure in carrying to HR policy, disciplinary
• Must be an aspiring manager capable of motivating and leading a national workforce to achieve clearly defined safety and production targets and have an in-depth understanding of copper hydrometallurgical processes to an extent that risk of failure is minimal.
• Ability to lead operations teams to achieving targeted production goals
• Develop and manage SXEW (Solvent Extraction and Electrowinning – copper mining) facility and all associated staff.

OTHER ESSENTIALS
• Previous expatriate experience would be advantageous
• Ability to communicate in French would be a plus (not essential); English is mandatory due to the frequent technical meetings with engineering and support companies and other vendors as well preparation of operations and technical reports
