Responsibilities:
The art director is responsible for managing and art directing the graphic designers towards development of creative and innovative product designs.
Must have the ability to come up with strong creative concepts for advertising and brand imaging
Supervise members of the team and work with the designers to improve their skill sets
Highly involved in long term planning and overall direction for the brand
Work with management to develop promotional and marketing strategies for the brand
Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Art design/Creative or equivalent an advantage.
Previous experience in brand development, advertising, and graphic design
Must have very strong creative, strategic and conceptual abilities
Proficient in graphic software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel
Experience in apparel design
Experience in unique visual merchandising concepts and packaging designs
Experience in copywriting and photography an advantage
