Minimum Requirements
Under the supervision of the Sous Chef, this position is responsible for the execution of menu item production, maintaining all company standards and through adherence to all safety and hygiene policies and procedures while contributing to a safe and welcome work environment for all employees.

Key Accountabilities
* Prepares, pre-cooks, cooks and presents menu items in a timely fashion; following standardized recipes
* Prepares mis en place (“setting in place” of foods, garnishes, sauces, dishes, cutlery, etc) and other products as required for high volume production
* Assists Commis Chefs with product receipts, breakdown, storage and rotation
* Cleans culinary equipment after use and/or remove soiled equipment to the dish pit
* Assists with month end inventories as directed
* Takes orders over the counter at some locations
* Attends monthly culinary meetings
* Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
* Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
* Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
* Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualification Requirements
* Culinary education a plus
* Enrollment or completion of the ITA Apprentice Program a plus
* Level 1 FoodSafe, Safe Food Handling or BASICS.fst Food Handler Certificate; MSDS; WHMIS; SIR Certificate
* Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
* 1 to 2 years culinary experience
Previous experience in a similar environment would be an asset to this position
Age not more than 35 years
Nationality: Asian Preference to candidates from Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore
Contract Period : 2 years

It is unlawful to live and work in Canada without a Valid work permit.
Pl note that this position is on work permit and it is the candidate who will have to bear his work permit expenses and only such candidates who are in a position to spend need respond.
