Process Engineers

Qualifications:

Graduate of Chemical Engineer

Minimum of two (2) years experience in Oil and Gas operations.

Knowledge of process simulation software such as PROII or Hysis.

Ability to work under pressure and stressful conditions with minimal supervision

Able to express him/herself in English.

Task Description:

Optimising process performances of Al Khalij plant, i.e.:

Monitoring process / production performance and troubleshooting where necessary.

Suggesting / reviewing potential improvements to Safety and Production offshore (Debottlenecking, etc). Ensuring any modifications are in line with Company Rules and General Specifications.

Monitoring and Auditing of Fiscal metering performance to ensure that metering is inline with international standards and accepted by Qatari Authorities / QP.

Providing site support and technical assistance for operational problems

Playing an active role in following the process aspect of any projects, including taking part in technical reviews (e.g. HAZOP, PTR,)

Coordinating the Field Operations input to the RFM (Request for Modification Process) and managing the RFM database.

Managing the optimisation of Chemical usage, ensuring economic evaluation and proposing change outs where justified

Contributing to the evolution of tools and work methods e.g. Process Simulations, Data Management / Reporting and Operating Procedures.
