Business Development Associate

Unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding online global guide aimed at foreign tourists and business visitors to Philippines. We are seeking Business Development Associates in the following locations, for the Philippines guide:

Manila
Cebu
Boracay
Palawan
Bohol
Puerto Galera

Agents must be business-minded, entrepreneurial, motivated, reliable, honest, confident, enthusiastic, energetic, and presentable, with good written and spoken English language skills. You must have good communication skills and be able to get on with well with people and have the ability to close sales.

The job will involve marketing the Global Guide to Philippines and selling listings and advertising space to customers in the travel, tourism, accommodation, restaurant and entertainment sectors, plus other potential market segments in your territory. You will be expected to work with local tourism and chamber of commerce organisations to promote the guide in your territory.

The job will pay an attractive basic salary, plus a generous commission. There will also be a repeat % commission for listings placed in the guide in subsequent years, by the same customer. This means you will effectively be building your own repeat income.

The job would suit an I.T literate person with a business and/or a marketing background, preferably with university education and qualifications in a marketing/business discipline.

Your investment in this exciting business opportunity will be to provide your own laptop computer with internet connection, a mobile phone and you will need to meet the cost of travel in your territory to visit clients.

The work to market the site to potential clients is due to commence in July – August 2011.
