JOB DESCRIPTION OF MECHANICAL ENGINEER

QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should have Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of Seven (7) years experience with the below mentioned requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Mechanical Engineer shall be knowledgeable in the following:
1. Industrial Plant Machine Installation and Maintenance.
2. Petrochemical Plant Maintenance and Operation
3. HVAC System
4. Piping Fabrication and Installation
5. Plant Construction
6. Machine Shop
7. Structural Steel Fabrication, Installation and Erection.
8. Welding
9. Services Utilities Systems
10. Design, Calculation and Drafting

1. Industrial Plant Machine Installation and Maintenance (Plant Engineering):
? Can execute the installation of mainly Hydraulic press machineries as per manufacturer installation guidelines, drawing and requirements.
? Understand / familiar to the requirement before installation i.e. foundation, Electrical, Electronic and other service lines required.
? Can generate day-to-day preventive maintenance plant requirements.
? Responsible for Plant upgrading
? Keeping plant daily track record

2. Petrochemical Plant Maintenance and Operation:
? Familiar with static and rotating equipment
? Can study / detect any un-usual noise, vibration on the equipments.
? Know how of Equipment operation.
? Know how of emergency trouble shooting
? Familiar W/Equipments spare parts.
? Know how of preventive Maintenance Routine
? Know how of Equipments Installation and Alignments.

3. HVAC System:
? Can lead for the installation of High Voltage Air Condition Unit.
? Knowledge in Instruments installation
? Can design and calculate required CFM
? Can design and calculate of Ducting System routine, (Fabrication & Installation)

4. Piping Fabrication & Installation:
o Familiar in various/different type of piping materials and its properties i.e. Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Glass reinforced pipe etc.
o Familiar for the fabrication and installation of pipe and fittings i.e. welding requirement, bevel, miter joint, Flanges, Gasket, bolts and nuts, etc.
o Familiar for the fabrication and installation of Glass reinforced pipe i.e. bell and spigot connection, trust blocks, temporary support etc.
o Can conduct Hydro testing as required.
o Can design, calculate the pipe size, length as per given pressure
o Familiar in Piping general arrangement drawings and Isometric

5. Plant Construction:
o Knowledge in Plant Mechanical Equipment requirement for installation
o Knowledge for the installation of static equipment i.e. Doerator, Boiler, Exchanger etc.
o Familiar and experienced in Refratory works
o Experience in storage Tank Fabrication and construction.
o Experience in Plant Equipment Hydrotesting and calibration
o Familiar in Plant construction requirement i.e. compressor House, Utilities, Sub-station, Transformer etc.

6. Machine Shop:
o Familiar in Machine Shop Drawing
o Familiar in various materials properties i.e. Tool, Steel, AISI etc
o Familiar in Machinist measurement scale i.e. vernier Califer Rowars etc.

7. Structural Steel Fabrication, Installation & Erection:
o Light Structure:
